  • CCANSW call for 2018 Rising Star Nominations

    Rising Star Awar 2018Each year the CCANSW holds its  Rising Star Award award, which  acknowledges industry excellence, improvement, dedication and knowledge sharing.  The award is CCANSW sponsorship for a member’s representative to attend work experience at another cemetery or crematoria in NSW (or Australia) and also to attend a CCANSW Conference.

    • To promote the professional operation of cemeteries, crematoria and funeral homes, for the purpose of dignified burial, cremation, memorialisation, and celebration of life.

    • To foster and encourage any legislation as may be necessary for the betterment of the death care industry consistent with the highest ethical standards, and to advise and co-operate with the government in the implementation of such legislation.

    frances family funeral logoWe welcome Andrew France, delegate for CCANSW latest new member, Port Stephens Cremations,  owned and operated by France Family Funerals of Port Stephens, NSW.

    France Family Funerals has been operating since 1882 in the Port Stephens and adjoining regional areas.  It's facilities include the Nelson Bay and Mayfield Chapels and Mortuary along with  Stockton and Toronto Arrangement Centres.
